Goethe’s „Faust“, my translation from the original German into Sanskrit, Part 3

My own literal translation of my Sanskrit text:

(5)
Even a dog would never like to lead such a life! That's
why I have become the most powerful magician and
devoted my continuous effort to the black magic, so
that a hidden mystery may clearly manifest itself to me
through the mouth of the Spirit, according to the will
of the Demon. That was my great desire and the
innermost longing in the course of my whole practice.

(6)
So that I never more dare to announce with sour sweat
something what I have never experienced myself.
I have the powerful wish to understand, what can be
imagined as the cause of the inner cohesion of the
whole world. May I possess a correct vision about the
development of the Universe — what is the semen as
well the pure foundation of this world! That's why
there is nothing left to prattle about!

Translated by: Bayard Taylor (Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1898)

No dog would endure such a curst existence!
Wherefore, from Magic I seek assistance,
That many a secret perchance I reach
Through spirit-power and spirit-speech,
An thus the biter task forego
Of saying the things I do not know, -
That I may detect the inmost force
Which binds the world, and guides its course,
Its germs, productive powers explore,
And rummage in empty words no more!

Мой перевод с немецкого на русский:

И псу последнему так стыдно было б жить;
А посему я принялся лишь магии служить,
Дабы мне силою Духа, реченьем
Тайны открылись, Его поученьем,
Да не дерзаю, как прежде, с испариной кислой
Провозглашать самому непонятные мысли!
Дабы познал я, чьим веленьем
Весь мир внутри связался единеньем,
Се, ныне зрю я силу действия и всяко его семя,
На словеса пустые я уже не трачу время.

Отрывок переведён с немецкого на санскрит 19-сложным размером шардулавикридита.
